This is a follow-up post to the Esqido Lash Introduction post. I have since been testing out my ESQIDO lashes and I have absolutely fallen in love with them. Not only are the lashes gorgeous but even without mascara they instantly bring life to your eyes as you can see in the picture above. Below is a demonstration on how to apply the ESQIDO Lashes!

The first pair I tried out were the "Lashlorette" lashes. The first time I wore them out I got so many compliments but unfortunately I wasn't camera happy that evening so I didn't get any pictures. The next time I wore them I had a few hairs shed as you can see in the picture below but as illustrated in the picture above they were absolutely stunning. On the third use, I was trying to pull some of the excess glue off when my superwoman strength tore them apart...I was so upset. The hairs (lashes) are woven into the cotton band and I somehow managed to pull the band apart in the process, resulting in a huge patch of lashes completely falling out. Needless to say, I made sure to treat the second pair with gentle, delicate care and use make-up remover to remove even the tiniest bit of glue residue.

The second pair of ESQIDO Lashes "Voila Lash" I saved for the video. I wanted them to be brand new just in case I boo-booed them up too. Out of the two styles these were by far my favorite, not only because I didn't destroy them but they are very full but natural looking and I love the way they frame my eye. I've since used them about ten times and they are still going strong.

Since I'm obsessed with false lashes I definitely have some pros and cons for the ESQIDO lashes. First pro being how incredible they look and feel on your eyes. The cotton band is thick, which initially I thought might be uncomfortable or would be hard to glue down. Neither is the case. The band is incredibly flexible and it's lightweight meaning it doesn't weigh down your eye. Actually the more times you use them the easier they go on, as it forms to the shape of your eye.

Next I absolutely love how as brand new the lashes only have three points of glue contact on the plastic tray. Most lashes have glue on the whole strip when removing them from the package. Only having three tiny points of glue made removing the lashes from the tray easy without the need to pull or tug on them which can result in damage along with being less glue residue to wipe off the band before the initial application.

Though the price is a con for me I do understand now after using them why they are so much more expensive.  The white box packaging that the lashes come in are great to keep for storage each night as it is a closed box which ensures dust and other particles in the air won't land on them and get in your eye the next day...keeps them clean!  Upkeeping the lashes does take more time and they must be treated with the upmost, gentlest care which for impatient or girls who are rushed for time can be a downfall.

All in all, ESQIDO has added to my obsession of false lashes, which I didn't think was possible. I feel like I just upgraded to the big-daddy league of lashes. If you are a soon to be bride or a bridal make-up artist these are what I would most definitely recommend and then of course if you are a lash fanatic like me, these are a must-try.  I'm embarrassed to say that I hadn't tried mink lashes before now.  For more information on ESQIDO Mink Lashes check out their website or follow them on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook!
