BeautyADDICTS : PLAY Collection

Today I'm introducing the newest collection from beautyADDICTS the PLAY Collection. It is comprised of four eyeshadows, two lipsticks, two lip glosses and one eye liner color. I absolutely adore all the colors in this collection and I especially love the combination of all the colors together. As you probably know the Pantone color for 2013 is Emerald and this collection's eyeshadows emphasize emerald tones. Included in the eyeshadow collection is a green ("Emerald City"), a light teal ("Crème de Mint"), a vintage pink ("Eye Candy") and a dark blue/navy ("Yacht Club"). The eye shadows apply very smoothly and blend easily. All the shadows have a shimmery undertone, though the shimmer in "Yacht Club" isn't as prevalent as the other three shadows. My favorite is "Eye Candy", as I always love pinks. I use it as a highlighter and inner eye corner sparkle.

Next in the collection is the lip products!! I'm absolutely in love with the colors of the lipstick and lip glosses in the PLAY collection. Two of them are pink, one is nude and the other is gold...perfect for summer! The pink lipstick "Frenchie" is a true matte lipstick that does not dry out or settle in the cracks of your lips. I absolutely have the driest lips ever and these lipsticks are a perfect match as they are made with Jojoba Oil, Shea Butter and other natural peptides. So not only are the colors really pretty but they hydrate lips at the same time. The nude lipstick "In The Buff" is also a matte lipstick, but not as matte as "Frenchie". It is a medium nude/brown color, which is a perfect stand alone color or works great as the bottom layer to some gloss. Both lipsticks are very creamy and long lasting, without an unwanted color stain for hours.

In case you are a shinny lip addict, the PLAY collection didn't forget about you! Let me introduce the two glossy lip glosses, "Socialite" and "Addict". "Socialite" is a light/medium pink that is absolutely one of my favorite lip glosses. I've been wearing it almost everyday since I received it. "Addict" is a gold tone based lip gloss and is a perfect match with both lipsticks, but especially with the "In The Buff" lipstick. Both glosses are slick and glossy without being super sticky. Like the lipsticks, they are pigmented enough to wear alone or on top of a layer of lipstick. You can probably guess my favorite combo is "Frenchie" with a little bit of "Socialite".
