I was in CVS the other day and looked up to see the Skinnygirl Skincare line by Bethenny Frankel. As you probably know Bethenny was on the "Real Housewives of New York City" and her own spin off's "Bethenny Getting Married?" and "Bethenny Ever After." I'm not much into the Housewives series, but I always did watch Bethenny's spin off shows and I think she is such an inspiration. She has proven that if you put your mind to something you can achieve anything.
Bethenny has been an advocate for a healthy lifestyle and went to college and graduated with a culinary degree. In 2009 she launched Skinnygirl Cocktails which produces low-calorie pre-mixed cocktails. It rapidly became a huge success and in that process Bethenny established her own brand and identity, which has now been carried over to the skincare line. The logo (seen below) is absolutely adorable and simple at the same time. Bethenny is now starting a new daytime television show, is still publishing news books and has plans for several other brands of Skinnygirl, including a clothing line.

I haven't explored much into the skincare line yet but I wanted to introduce it to everyone and get thoughts and feedback. It looks like the line produces scrubs & masks, moisturizers, cleaning cloths and a variety of lip balms & plumping lip glosses. Skinnygirl Skincare - Mommy has a few specialized products for expectant mothers, such as a belly cream and cooling foot spray. I love the fact that the line is very affordable and will be available at Wal-mart...meaning I don't have to go around to specialized stores to hunt it down. The line is animal-cruetly free as well.
I wish Bethenny nothing but success in her ventures, as I think she is an amazing woman with so much drive and ambition.
