Several weeks ago I was given the opportunity to try out all ten of Epic Blend Lip Balms. To say I was ecstatic is an understatement, as I constantly have dry lips year-round not only in the winter but dead set middle of summer too. Epic Blend has three collections of lip balm that include, "More Moisture", "Hemp" and "Vegan". Their products are all natural, not tested on animals, gluten free and all their collections contain quality ingredients that include Organic Sunflower Seed Oil, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Coconut Oil, Vitamin E and Rosemary Extract.

Each collection has different scents and flavors. The scent in the scented balms is stronger in all of them than the flavor which I found to be light and faint. The texture in all of them is fairly consistent, though the "More Moisture" and "Hemp" have a slightly darker yellow opacity than the "Vegan" lip balms. The "Vegan" collection lip balms are also a bit shiner than the other two collections with "Pineapple-Mint" being shinier than "Wild Berry".

The Epic Blend collections are as follow:
HEMP:
• "Citrus Kick":
This one is for all the citrus lovers as it is made with pink grapefruit and sweet orange, giving your lips a zesty and refreshing kick.
• "Coconut":
Anything coconut is my favorite as it reminds me of the beach. For all those that want to be reminded of that lovely relaxing place everyday, this is the one for you.
• "Mint":
This one reminds me of half an Altoid and half Spearmint Freshen-up Gum with the juice in the middle. *Slight tingle factor.
• "Vanilla":
Some vanillas smell cheap and others smell luxurious...this one is definitely the luxurious vanilla. A deep vanilla that reminds me of pure vanilla out of the bottle.
• "Banana":
Have not tried but I absolutely LOVE banana anything so I imagine this one would be my favorite ever. *limited edition.
• "Chocolate Rum":
Have not tried. *limited edition.

MORE MOISTURE:
• "Cherry":
My Dad used Chapstick Cherry constantly growing up and this Cherry scent takes me right back to being a kid. Good memories!!
• "Grape":
This grape reminds me of grape Nerds for some odd reason. I've never been a big grape or orange imitation flavor fan, so this one just wasn't my favorite my default. Unfair disadvantage to the grape...I know.
• "Green Apple":
Green Apple always reminds me of Jolly Ranchers or Jelly Beans and now Epic Blend lip balm.
• "Unflavored":
This one is perfect for anyone who doesn't want a scent or flavor. Also for the guys that are intimidated by scents.

VEGAN:
• "Pineapple-Mint":
This one has a bold kick with the combination of fruity and minty. *Slight tingle factor.
• "Wild Berry":
I'd say this is the closest to strawberry in the Epic Blend line, which is my second favorite scent/flavor behind banana. Very sweet and feminine scent.

If I could suggest any scents or flavors, they would be "Strawberry", "Bubble Gum", "Cotton Candy" or "Watermelon". Those along with banana are my favorite flavors of most anything. The design of the packaging is very simple and straightforward. Each lip balm is color coded relating to it's scent and is clearly labeled. All of Epic Blend's products are all natural and the "More Moisture" and "Hemp" contain beeswax while the "Vegan" is made from Candelilla Wax. The shelf life is eighteen months but it is recommended to use the lip balm within one year of opening. Of course, long term exposure to extreme heat or cold can reduce the shelf life.

I wish Epic Blend offered a line that contained SPF but I imagine that would change the formula and taste. Currently, all of their formulas are smooth, non-gritty and non-waxy. As stated before the "Vegan" collection has the most shine out of the three collections, but still has enough of a matte finish for a guy to be comfortable to wear. None of the balms in these three collection have tint and are all made with organic moisturizers. All of the lip balms mentioned above are available for $3.49/each or $12.00/4-pack + shipping & handling from the Epic Blend website.

Epic Blend does offer a balm with a sheer merlot color tint, called the "Garnet Star" which has a pomegranate flavor. It is available for $4.99/each. My lips have never been as moisturized as they have been for the past several weeks using the Epic Blend Lip Lovin' Superpack. All ten of these lip balms are scattered from my purse, desk, bathroom and makeup case so there's always one close by.

Make sure to check out Epic Blend online and on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I'm also very excited to announce Epic Blend is sponsoring my August Beauty Giveaway which will be launching on August 1st, 2014. One winner will win a Epic Blend Lip Lovin' Superpack.
