Recently, I was given the opportunity to try Karora Cosmetics Supreme Bronzette Mousse Self Tanner (medium to dark), which I saved for my vacation in Puerto Rico. In Puerto Rico, I took before and after pictures on the beach but the sun was at a completely different angles in all the pictures so in conclusion they weren't a good representation of the magic this product is made up of. I honestly don't have much experience with self-tanners, only tried a handful of brands, none of which I truly fell head over hells in love with until I met Karora.

Holy moly, this stuff is the holy grail for self-tanners. Not only is it made of good ingredients, like aloe, acai berry, green tea, argan and bergamot oil but it doesn't give off the stench of a self-tanner, like the majority of self-tanning products do. Instead it has a rich blend of essential oils like rosemary leaf, lemon and grapefruit oil that leaves skin lightly scented with a citrus scent. The color custom adjusts to your unique skin tone to ensure a natural looking, golden glow and never an orangey shade.

The Supreme Bronzette Mousse Self Tanner is a mousse that is applied to the custom mitt, which is velvety smooth. The Supreme Bronzette Mousse applies evenly with a slight bronze tint to help give you an idea of any spots you may have missed. Initially I was going to just test it on my legs, but after seeing how easy it is to apply I ended up putting it all over my body, and even my face. I must admit, I was a bit nervous about applying product to my face, but just like the rest of my skin it gave my face a radiant bronzed glow.

I also applied the Supreme Bronzette Mousse Self Tanner with rubber gloves to see if it would streak and it didn't but it didn't go on as smoothly. Skin does remain tacky for a good 30 - 45 minutes after application, but I did put clothes on about 5 minutes after one application and I didn't notice any rub-off on the clothing or clothing marks in the tan.

The golden tan lasts about 5-6 days depending on the depth of development and fades evenly without spotting or blotchiness. My favorite thing about the mousse is you have complete control of the depth of development. If you just want a light glow, only leave the product on for 1 hour. For deeper color, leave on for 2 hours and for a dark bronze leave on for 3 hours. I left it on for 6 hours in one trial and it did get a bit deeper with the 3 extra hours but even with rising the product off after 3 hours the color still continues to develop. If you want an extra deep, you can apply another application, but the 3 hour development bronze was plenty dark for my fair skin.

I also received a cute package of 3 sample size Karora Cosmetics products which included the Gradual Tan Buildable Colour, Instant Tan Wash Off (water resistant) and the CC Cream Face & Body. Out of the three the CC Cream was my favorite. Not only did I get five uses out of one sample but the cream gives my face a glow like no other product. It is a bit hard to smooth in evenly, especially in a hurry, but I found it was best to first apply with fingertips followed by a sponge to even out any cream. When I first opened the tube I wasn't expecting the cream to be a grayish-white color with speckles, but turns skin tone immediately upon spreading it out and it self adjusts to your skin tone shade.

The Instant Tan Wash Off is great for anyone who wants a bronzed glow for the evening, without commitment to self-tanner, as it washes off with soap and water. I used it on my face as I only had a sample, but I believe this would be great for legs, even on top of the self-tanning mousse as it gives a golden shimmery glow which is different from the golden glow of the mousse. I imagine the two combined would make for a sexy combination. It has light coverage to help camouflage veins and coverage blemishes.

The Gradual Tan Buildable Colour is a moisturizer that gradually builds over time. I'm a moisturizer hog, so this particular sample only lasted me for two applications, which I noticed a slight build in color, but I'm sure with continued daily use it would slowly give a nice build along with a moisturized face. The thing I noticed most about this product was the scent, it smells divine! It reminds me of the beach and absorbs quickly and smoothly into my face.

Thank you Karora Cosmetics for sending such great products for me to try all the way from the Emerald Isle of Ireland! The Karora Cosmetics Supreme Bronzette Mousse Self Tanner is by far the best self-tanner I have ever come across and the CC Cream is now a full-size product in my personal makeup kit. I completely understand why Karora products keep winning beauty awards!
