A few weeks ago after going out to lunch in Buckhead with my long-time friend and incredible photographer, Danny Griffin from www.dannygriffin.net I was driving along and asked if he had ever heard of Miz Scarlett's. Danny replied, "No, what's that?" I said you are about to find out as we pulled in the parking lot. We pull up to a large house on a hill with a circle parking lot overlooking Piedmont Road with glass structures hanging in the trees with manikins!

I'm not exactly sure how I was introduced to Miz Scarlett's but I made a special trip from my hometown several hours away to purchase my high school prom dress from this store. Not only do I remember walking in there at sixteen and the awww and girlie-ness that overcame me but the exact same feeling comes over me every time I walk into Miz Scarlett's! My prom was fifteen years ago and since then Miz Scarlett's has drastically expanded and is now in a two-story location, featuring vintage and bridal on the second floor along with any and every dress for any imaginable occasion on the first floor.

I took so many pictures but I narrowed it down to the following fifteen. Miz Scarlett's has so many manikins which are all uniquely dressed and positioned, along with some of the most unique retail props that gives the store a unique feeling like no other. Danny and I were in the store for well over an hour just walking around in a daze of dazzling dresses. Prices range from very affordable to rock star status, depending on the dress. Miz Scarlett's also has a variety of accessories from jewelry, shoes, purses, hats, veils, etc. If you can think of it, I can almost bet they have it or know where to find it.
