Happy Valentine's ♥ Day! Today I wanted to introduce ESQIDO Mink Lashes to you! False lashes are absolutely my favorite makeup accessory, hand's down. I can glue lashes on anyone and I get more compliments on my lashes than anything else. It took me many years to learn the proper way to apply lashes and which techniques are best for me but I would definitely consider myself a lash connoisseur. With that being said, I am embarrassed to say that I've never experimented with mink lashes. I always have used cheapie, synthetic lash strips never putting into consideration that the expensive lashes last seven to eight times longer. Not only do they last longer but the precision and quality far exceeds the lashes I've been using. I could tell the moment I opened up the box and upon initial touch they are luxuriously soft, much more similar to natural, human lashes.
Quoted from ESQIDO: "No animals were harmed in the making of these lashes and are made from the natural shedding/molting cycle of the mink animal which are then sterilized to ensure that they are hypoallergenic and suitable for wear."
The lashes come individually packaged in a sturdy, white box with a gold ESQIDO logo foil-stamped on the outside and a product label on the back. When you open the lid, it's like a pair of sparkly eyes are waiting for you in a box! The lashes all have a cotton-band strip, which is soft and lighter against the lash line. I chose a criss-cross/straight strand combination ("Lashlorette") lash along with a straight-strand only ("Voila Lash") lash. The "Lashlorette" has a lash length of 9 - 12mm with a volume level of three out of five and retails for $45.99. The "Voila Lash" has a lash length of 8 - 13mm with a volume level of five out of five and retails for $49.99.
Did your jaw just drop to the floor when I said $49.99 for a pair of lashes? Yes, mine did too the first time I heard the price, but that was before I discovered these can be worn up to 25 times with proper care! That actually only comes to $2.00 each application. The cheapest I can find synthetic lashes is $2.60 / pair, which breaks down to $0.86 - $1.30 for two or three applications, which yes is still cheaper, but ESQIDO Mink Lashes look more natural and if you like a style that fits you, the strip still has a future for many more applications. ESQIDO offers a range of styles to choose from that range from natural to oh-la-la and they offer shipping all over the world!
Just wanted to do a quick introduction today with a few pictures but be on the lookout for the follow-up with pictures of each lash style on myself and possibly a video! ;)
