Sultra Beauty - The Bombshell Curling Iron

If you haven't already, make sure to check out this month's giveaway along with my video demonstration of the Sultra Bombshell 1.5-inch Rod Curling Iron. Additionally I wanted to show you pictures and write out my thoughts on this curling iron. To start off the packaging is superior, as the box was designed with shipping in mind. The curling iron rod is secured with small glue dots to ensure it doesn't wiggle around during shipment with the additional accessories tucked neatly below in the bottom of the box. The iron comes with a pink heat glove, a felt heat pat and instructions/warranty information.
With the 1.5-inch barrel you can create several types of curls, from big defined curls to large sexy waves if you comb through your hair after you have curled it. The iron itself is fairly light meaning your wrist isn't tired after the first few curls. Sultra Beauty irons have the fastest heat up and recovery time available with the Exclusive ThermaTru™ Ceramic Technology. The iron heats up to an even 380 °F with a red indicator light blinking while it heats up then turns solid when it is ready to use. Even wearing the heat glove you can feel the hotness of the iron but the hotness sets curls a lot faster than other irons and is safe for damaged, color-treated, dry or brittle hair.
The only issue I encountered when initially using the iron was the on and off switch. I kept sliding it into the off position by accident when curling my long hair. But after becoming aware that I was doing that, I repositioned my hand position on the iron to prevent it from happening. The body of the curling iron is super slick without any places for hair to get caught or snagged on. The rod itself let's hair easily slide off the end so you don't have to break any of the curl when releasing hair from the iron. The Bombshell also has an auto-off feature so you don't have to worry about it burning down the house if you accidentally forget to turn it off, along with a fabulous two year warranty.
