Spa Sydell Event : Venus Freeze

Earlier this week I was invited by The Reynolds Group to attend the Venus Freeze event at Spa Sydell Alpharetta. I had never heard of the Venus Freeze treatment so I was excited to go learn and they were offering free demonstrations. The treatment helps tighten skin, reduce wrinkles and cellulite which I could use on my thighs, as I've started seeing a little bit of cellulite that started in my early 30's.
Upon arriving I was greeted by several ladies from Spa Sydell who helped me signed in and put a ticket in for a raffle. The party was catered with all kinds of scrumptious snacks from Fancy Pantry and there was an area designated in the lobby with two Venus Freeze demonstration stations. This way the demonstrations were visible to everyone walking in along with a front row seat to ask questions while the treatments were going on. The demonstrations were only on the face and neck so I decided to sit down and observe. I didn't know what to expect but the first lady who sat down was a perfect candidate.

In the picture above Michelle is performing the Venus Freeze treatment on this sweet lady. The procedure is non-invasive, painless and take about 15 minutes for the face and 40 minutes for the body. Michelle recommends to purchase a six series of treatments to see optimal results, which you will continue to see results for up to nine months. The magnets at the end of the wand heat up between 39° C - 41° C which is 102.2° F - 105.8° F with many people comparing the treatment to a hot-stone massage! Your skin will be slightly red for a few minutes after the treatment but will quickly dissipate.
Venus Freeze uses pulsed magnetic fields and radio frequency to consistently and uniformly heat the skin from the inside out, this eliminates the threat of laser burns. The skin tightening results from the collagen fibres heating up. After completing a 5 minute treatment on one side of the lady's face I could tell a dramatic difference in her skin's resilience. I tried to take a picture but the lighting was a bit dim for a good visual before and after. Since the event I spoke with Michelle and I'm going to meet with her in the near future to learn more about Venus Freeze and of course I'll do another post to keep you all updated.
Currently the Alpharetta location is the only Spa Sydell offering the Venus Freeze treatment. A six series costs $1800 but Spa Sydell continually offers specials for their treatments so it's always a good idea to check their website often. Below are several pictures I took while at the event. Make sure to follow Spa Sydell, The Reynolds Group, Inc and Venus Freeze on twitter or book your appointment today at Spa Sydell.
