As mentioned in yesterday's post I received a lovely gift bag at the Omni Spa : Serenity Spa #SkincareSunday event. I waited till I got home to open it up so it would be a complete surprise. The first thing I pulled out was a bar of soap which is made by ZENTS, in the scent of "Sun".   I'm usually not fond of scented products but I must admit this soap smells really good.

Stated from the ZENTS website: SUN:
Comforting and calming.
Vanilla, blood orange, grapefruit, amber.

AROMA DESCRIPTION :
A top note of luxurious french vanilla, heart notes of sweet blood orange and pink grapefruit, and base notes of sultry sandalwood and golden amber make this scent warm and sensuous, like the feeling of being home.

I plan on doing an extended post specifically on ZENTS in the near future. They carry ten different scents with a variety of products in each scent.  ZENTS is unique as each scent will react with your own body’s natural chemistry to create a different scent on you than the next person.  Even their brand promotional materials are unique.

The next item in my gift bag was a mini mason jar full of Serenity Spa's special Pumpkin Scrub with a cute ribbon and gift tag. I am so excited to have Pumpkin Scrub to use at home as my introduction at Serenity Spa was so wonderful. I have used it a few times in the last week and as lovely as it feels rubbing it on myself, nothing feels better than a masseuse rubbing it on me.

The last item in my gift bag is an aromatherapy oil in "Breathing" by Anakiri. At first whiff it took me by surprise at how strong it was but after reading the directions I understood more about how to properly use the oil. "Breathing" Essential Oil is a blend of Eucalyptus (eucalyptus radiata), Pine (pinus sylvestris) and Lavender (lavandula angusti-folia). This blend is especially favored during the cold and flu season and is thought to assist with congestion. (Perfect timing since winter is right around the corner.) Anakiri offers nine different types of oil each with a specific purpose, such as "Dreaming", "Calming", "Healing", "Thinking", etc. There are many ways that the oil can be used.

AROMA BURNER:
Fill the bowl with water, add 5 - 15 drops of essential oil, light candle and enjoy.

STEAM INHALATION:
Fill a large bowl with warm water and add 1 drop of essential oil. Lean over the bowl with eyes closed and towel over the head and inhale the steam for 10 minutes.

EASY INHALATION:
Place 3 - 4 drops of essentials oil on a tissue. Place the tissue under nose and inhale.

COTTON PAD:
Put 4 drops of relaxing essentials oils on a cotton pad and tuck it under pillowcase.

HUMIDIFIER:
Add from 3 - 6 drops of essential oil to the water of the humidifier. Run overnight, or add essential oils two or three times a day, if running continuously.

COMPRESSES:
Put 6 drops of essential oil(s) and 1 tablespoon sea salt into an empty bowl. Fill bowl with hot water for cramps or cold water for swollen conditions or pain of a "burning" nature. Soak a washcloth or towel in the bowl and apply to indicated area. Leave on for 5 - 15 minutes as needed 1 - 2 times daily.

MASSAGE WITH CARRIER OIL:
Mix 10 drops of essential oil with 1 tablespoon of carrier oil. For deep hydration, use Anakiri SunFusion Face and Body Oil.

BATHS:
Fill bathtub with warm water, add 6 - 10 drops of essential oil to a tablespoon of unscented shower gel or Andean mineral salts, and add to the bathwater. Feel the tension melt away!

FOOTBATH:
Place feet in hot water for 20 minutes before going to bed. Mix a total of 10 drops essential oil with 1 teaspoon sea salt and add it to the water.

GARGLING:
In an empty glass, put ½ teaspoon sea salt and 6 drops Tea Tree essential oil. Add the juice of one lemon and ½ cup warm water. Stir well, gargle and spit it out. DO NOT SWALLOW. Gargle twice daily.

FIREPLACE:
Put one drop of essential oil on each log before lighting the fire. As the logs heats up, the aroma will be released into the room.

Additionally there were a few brochures tucked in the bag, including information on SkinPhD, a Serenity Spa "Menu of Services" and Hip & Hippie promotional flyer.  To book an appointment at Serenity Spa call (404) 818-4495! You can also follow Omni Hotels on Twitter and Facebook.  Thank you to all the Omni staff for such a lovely experience and a special thanks to Elizabeth and Ava of Spa Travel Gal for inviting me.  Below is the current Fall Special which features the limited-time Pumpkin Scrub and a massage.
