I had a little trouble with "Nanoblur" at first, as the directions state to apply as the last step in your makeup routine. Well the last step in my normal routine is powder and I'm sure most of you know powder with gel applied over it, isn't a good combination. So after at least trying it once, I decided I would go another route. Next I tried applying the "Nanoblur" first, then applying my foundation. This worked better than applying over my makeup, but still didn't give the best look. I also found that the foundation didn't smooth in as easily or evenly when using the "Nanoblur" as a primer.
After experimenting several times, I figured out the best application for me with "Nanoblur", was under powder foundation or on light makeup days. When using it as a primer for powder foundation it worked like a charm. The powder applies more evenly and stays all day, without the oily face half way through the day. The main reason I rarely use powder foundation is because the majority of the time, by noon, if I touch my face it leaves a fingerprint smudge where I touched it. But when using the "Nanoblur", the powder foundation looked flawless all day, with a touch-up of powder before going out for the evening.
I discovered my favorite thing about "Nanoblur" is days when I don't feel like putting on foundation, I will moisturize my face and use "Nanoblur" along with a bit of blush, mascara and lip gloss for a light look. The "Nanoblur" definitely fills in lines, brightens skin tone while giving it a matte finish and best of all the product is fragrance free! "Nanoblur" reminds me of how the soft focus picture effect would give your face.

The other product I received from Indeed Labs was "Hydraluron". I was definitely more interested in experimenting with the "Nanoblur", so this little gem was set aside for a bit, until I recently got sunburned and started peeling. I realized this would be the perfect time to try this product out, as it is for hydration. The "Hydraluron" is very popular in the UK, though I had never heard of it.
I must admit, this product really surprised me. I rarely believe in hydration products, as 95% of skincare products promise hydration and plumpness, but I applied the "Hydraluron" on my peeling skin followed by my regular moisturizer, Clinique Body Butter and the next day I wasn't peeling anymore. I still almost don't believe it, as I usually peel for days when I get burnt.
The science behind this product is described on the Indeed Labs website as the following:
"Hydraluron is inspired by injectable hydration and plumping treatments employed in Swiss clinics. Hydraluron uniquely combines the world's purest hyaluronic acid and a bio-engineered strain of red marine algae causing a controlled increase in blood circulation. This increased circulation optimizes the penetration of the small particles of hyaluronic acid into the key deep layers of the skin and refill spaces formed through the aging process and improve skin structure."
In addition, "Hydraluron" is the world's first hyaluronic acid that is 100% free of animal-derived raw materials and remnants of organic solvents and is also paraben free. The product itself is a clear, thick gel that absorbs into skin very easily, without leaving a sticky residue. Below you can see both swatches of the "Hydraluron" (clear) and the "Nanoblur" (white).
For more information on "Nanoblur" or "Hydraluron" check out the Indeed Labs website or follow them on twitter and facebook. I also noticed that their products are now available at Duane Reade, which is exciting, as they are partners with Pretty in My Pocket and these products haven't been widely available in the United States, until recently.
