Today I want to introduce a lovely makeup bag made by Massi called the "Casella de Serpente". By the pictures I thought this bag would be stiff, but much to my surprise it came in a small package, as it completely collapses flat. The material feels like a glossy leather, but it is actually polyurethane. The bag has a large gold zipper that looks like it would be a sharp zipper, but it's totally not. It's a fairly smooth zipper, but it is sturdy enough not to come unzipped if the bag is flopped around.
The dimensions are: 8″ Long x 4.5″ Wide x 4″ Height. For being such a small bag, I was very impressed with the amount of products that fit inside. I could have fit a few more products in there, but I didn't want it to be jam packed for my demonstration. It's not large enough for my hair brush or products but plenty big to put my toothbrush and other overnight items in. The inside of the bag has a red cloth lining with a black and white Massi label tag. The lining is not a waterproof material, so I would be scared to put liquids in there that could possibly leak.
The Casella de Serpente bag is available in four colors, including Cordovan (red), Black, Capri (teal) and Clay (the color shown below). It can be purchased through the Massi website for $95.00.
