I absolutely love shea butter, so I was very excited to try out Le Beurre Shop's homemade shea butter cream, which is also 100% natural. I requested the unscented as I'm not a big fan of scents, but much to my surprise I got a sampling of all their scents, which included "lavender", "lemongrass", "vanilla" and "sage". After giving them all the sniff test, the "vanilla" was my favorite followed by the "lavender". I was not a fan of the "lemongrass" or the "sage", but my friend Dorothy absolutely loved the "lemongrass" and snatched it up quickly. She called me two days later to tell me she loves it and got several compliments at work of smelling delightful. My Mom claimed the "sage" and "vanilla", as she loves vanilla. I tested out the unscented, which has natural scents of shea butter representing an earthy smell. The butters have a thick consistency and are light yellow in color. They go on skin very smooth with no grittiness. It is a tad greasy when first applied to skin, but it is absorbed quickly, especially if your skin is as dry as mine is right now. I especially love lathering up my feet before I go to bed only to wake up with soft feet.
I also received a jar of the Ultra Rich Shea Butter Moisturizing Face Cream which did not have a scent or if it did it was too light for me to detect. Like the Shea Butters this cream is thick and moisturizing but has a creamer consistency and a lighter texture. The face cream also has an added bonus of Monoi Oil. As you can see in the pictures below, the butters came in a white box with a beautiful satin ribbon around the box. Inside there was a card explaining all the benefits of Beurre, including that it helps heal scars, burns and stretch marks and is great for dry skin, dermatitis, eczema, sunburn and athlete's foot. Le Beurre Shop also offers a Shea Butter Lip Balm that helps dry lips in a hurry. I can't get enough of this stuff for my winter lips.

• Shea Butter
Made from the Shea nut tree in Western Africa. It is dried and grounded than boiled down to extract the oily substance which than solidifies down to form a butter. Contains vitamins A, E and F, fatty acids, minerals and natural moisturizers that protect, nourish, soothe, heal and regenerate your skin. Shea Butter hydrates the skin, provides collagen, reduces wrinkles, heals dry skin, wounds and insect bites, protects the skin from wind and sun damage, reduces blemishes and stretch marks and revitalizes dull, lifeless skin.
• Grape-seed Oil
Helps tighten and tone your skin and is a key ingredient in anti-aging skin care products. It is also rich in vitamins, minerals, protein and contains several antioxidants. Not only does it nourish your skin, it also helps keep it smooth and subtle by locking in moisture.
• Jojoba Oil
