Gummy Bear Dress

Tweeted about this earlier....but this dress is made from 50,000 gummy bears. Pretty amazing and I'm sure pretty sticky.  :)

"The gummy bear floor-length gown was designed by TWELV's Editor-In-Chief Hissa Igarashi and Fashion Editor Sayuri Marakumi. It weighs 220Ibs and is modeled by Jessica Pitti for the magazine's debut issue.

The dress, which was inspired by Alexander McQueen's 2008 spring/summer collection, is made out of twisted wire and vinyl, with 50,000 colorful gummy bears glued onto it individually.

The dress took three weeks to make and was fitted to meet Pitt's measurements. Three fitters had to help mount the dress during the five-hour shoot, the Daily Mail reports. "
